Did I remember to mention at
Open House that we do spelling every other week? On alternate weeks we will do
several nights of ELA homework focusing on another objective such as grammar,
usage/mechanics, etc.
This week we are working on a
vocabulary unit consisting of ten words. The theme is "School," and the words
are listed in your child's planner.
There will be a handout each night and a
quiz on Friday Today we made flashcards for your use at home. The quiz will be
matching, fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice or a combination. The objective
this week is to become familiar with these 10 words and be able to use them in
